Installing the SurveyTester Extension

Overview

SurveyTester works directly in your browser through a simple extension. Installing it takes just a few minutes and unlocks all the testing and automation features you’ll need. This guide walks you through the process step by step.

Step 1: Check Your Browser

SurveyTester currently supports:

• Google Chrome (latest version recommended)
• Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based)

💡 Tip: REcommended browser is Google Chrome.

Step 2: Download the Extension

1. Open the Chrome Web Store (or Edge Add-ons Store).
2. Search for “SurveyTester”.
3. Click Add to Chrome (or Get in Edge).
4. Confirm by selecting Add Extension.

Step 3: Verify Installation

• Look for the SurveyTester icon in your browser toolbar (top right).
• If you don’t see it, click the puzzle-piece icon (Extensions menu) and pin SurveyTester for quick access.

Step 4: Log In

1. Click the SurveyTester icon.
2. Enter your account credentials.
3. Once logged in, you’ll see the dashboard with your available projects.

Step 5: First-Time Setup

• Permissions: The extension may ask for access to certain sites—this is required for testing surveys.
• Updates: Extensions update automatically, so you’ll always have the latest version.
